Pacho Finds A Home is about a little brown dog who is alone and homeless. He wanders into a Mexican village while they are preparing for the blessing of the animals. Pancho meets three animal friends and promises to get food from the kitchens of the people for a feast. He finds eggs for the hen, cheese for the goat and corn for the burro that grew in the field he plowed. After they have their feast, the animals are waiting with their masters to be blessed. Pancho feel sad and lonely. Then, a little girl with long black braids spots him. When she offers him food, he doesn't eat it because he is full from the feast. She asks her mama if they may keep Pancho and her mama tells her they will give a home to such a polite dog who does not beg for food. Pancho finds a happy home with his new family and sometimes has another feast upon the rock with his friends.
