Peter and Matthew are the ten year twin sons of Dr. Andrew Strawder, one of the country’s most respected aerospace engineers and Dr. Lily Strawder, a professor of astrophysics. The family enjoys their life in Seattle where they live in a house boat on Lake Union.
This normal life is challenged when life forms from the Centauri Star Cluster NGC 5139 intercept telepathic communication between the boys and visit them in their bedroom. They have a couple of adventures before taking the boys on a trip to the Moon. When their Mother finds a rock and some sand in a cup and asks them where they found them, the boys tell their parents about the trip to the Moon.
The parents did not believe their sons and as the father said, “Your Mother and I are well respected scientists who are considered experts in our field and you are sitting there telling me you went to the Moon with a Little Green Lady, somebody named Sunny Rosetta and a pink laser breathing dragon the size of a ferry. And you expect me to believe you?”
Later the parents have to face the reality of the situation as tests prove that the sand is dust from the moon’s surface and the rock is from the Moon. Pictures and videos from Peter’s phone show Peter and Matthew on the surface of the Moon.
After meeting these life forms that Andrew had facetiously named Spacenoodles, the parents are faced with a choice. Do they turn their backs and forbid their sons to acknowledge the existence of these life forms? That would protect their family life, their careers and their reputations. Or as scientists, do they accept the responsibility of introducing life forms from outer space to the world?
Their choice provides more intergalactic adventures and attacks for the family as well as danger and kidnappings that endanger each of them. The parents are forced to make decisions that will affect their family and the world forever.
