Driving your motorhome or campervan to Morocco couldn't be easier with Motorhome Morocco - An OurTour Guide. Get this English language guidebook to answer your questions on entering the country, travelling it safely, finding campsites, taking your dog, buying essentials, visiting some of the best sights and handling the language.

This second edition of the guide is completely revised. It includes photographs from across Morocco - colour in the eBook, black & white in printed copies - to give you an idea of the incredible landscapes and vibrant towns and cities you'll find there.

For a country that's closer to Spain than France is to England, Morocco is so very different to Europe, but such a great adventure. We toured the country in our motorhome in 2012 and again in 2017, spending four months there in total. After our first tour we wrote a book about our experiences and what we learned, to help you to get there and have a great adventure too.

We travelled in winter on both tours and crossed the Rif, Middle Atlas, High Atlas and Anti-Atlas Mountains, visited the incredible cities of Fes, Meknes and Marrakech and slept on the edge of the Sahara desert near Algeria. We bartered and haggled and came away with some great bargains and many, many happy memories.

The book focuses on the practical, first hand experience we gained on taking our motorhome to Morocco. It covers topics such as:

- Driving a motorhome in Morocco
- Buying ferry tickets
- An easy step-by-step guide to entering and leaving Morocco
- Insurance
- How to buy things, when to haggle and when not to
- Coping with breakdowns
- How to find places to stay
- Our experience of taking our dog to Africa
- Confusing aspects of Moroccan life, and how to cope with them
- What campsites and guarded parking we used
We didn't use an organised tour company for either trip, so we saved ourselves thousands of pounds and gave ourselves the freedom to explore this amazing country at our own pace. We hope our book will inspire you to do the same.
