What is the purpose of life? Purpose of life is to live, there cannot be any other purpose. We think we are alive but actually we are dead, without life, we are actually living in the past ( through mind) and past is nothing but dead. It is only when we de-clutch ourselves from our minds and live through our hearts, we start living. It is something like changing the IP address of your computer to connect to internet to be connected across the globe. Without changing the IP address, even the most advanced computer cannot connect to the internet hence it will remain limited to itself with its own challenges and problems. Same way, coming out of one’s shell to connect to a vast world around is very important. We live in beautiful and vast Universe with abundance. Even then, unfortunately we are constrained by something, which limits us from being happy and experience the abundance of the vast Universe. We are a part of this universe with an illusion of individual self. We have taken this form from light. Why did we come away from the light? Sometimes, light makes us feel that we are all alone. It is not a good thought. So how would unmanifest God or light continue to be like that, it has to bring this creation, so that a kind of separation can happen, so that we can start playing. Something like in today’s world, human beings created some physical and virtual games for the sake of entertainment. Similarly, we have also come down to play and to enjoy. But none of us seems to be playing, instead, everyone seems to be serious. Basically, all of us are here to enjoy and to play as life is nothing but a game. It is indeed a beautiful game and we need to learn it. When we understand this game, it gives us sheer joy, but unfortunately we do not understand it and become serious. If something goes wrong, we collapse. But if we consider it as a game, will we collapse? So what is there to life, terrible struggles? Even if you make money, lots of money, you get in to the state of unhappiness. Anything over the limit is sickening and boring after a point in time. So, whether we achieve success or not, the fact is that we are not happy. Basically, as long as ‘I’ as a person exists, irrespective of failure or success in life, the end result remains the same-we are not going to be happy. We may get pleasure but not happiness. Happiness is an inner state. As far as this ‘I’ exists, we cannot remain happy as this ‘I’ is equal to unhappiness. World around us is phenomenal, the physical world of matter, forces, space and energy. Science and technology, which we are all studying in our formal education relates to this phenomenal world. Then there is another world related to our own internal world. We may call one the material technology and the other spiritual technology. Unfortunately, each one speaks in their own language and don’t communicate among themselves. There is no common language that each of these streams can understand. Both technologies are important and there is perceived need to converge science and spirituality to take further leap in science, technology and spirituality. Intention of bringing this book to larger audiences is not to change this world, but is to save time of the readers by providing a thoughtful collection of Oneness teachings and various disciplines of contemporary science. The book also intends to raise a questions related to the true purpose of life in their hearts. Once the questions start taking a shape, the book completes its purpose. It is your divine then who will guide you on through the next steps to understand and fulfill the true purpose of this life.
