Only a few days in, his new team gets the daunting task to solve the mysterious murders of four fellow Field Researchers. A baffling investigation from the start, it becomes terrifying, challenging Henry's whole worldview. Meanwhile, unexpected events threaten to shatter the tightly bonded team, and Henry finds himself having to take on a responsibility he is not ready to take. Of Darkness Born is a coming-of-age novel set in the world created by H.P. Lovecraft. It is the third freestanding book in the series about the Field Researchers.
