Haunted by his first trial loss and the resulting devastation of a client, attorney J. Carson Tucker faces the most daunting case of his career: a claim that an executive has forced an employee, wife and mother into sexual slavery, while simultaneously advising a judge whose stunning young wife may be straying and while juggling his first chance at romance since his divorce.  To meet the challenges, “Tuck” enlists colorful characters encountered in his past cases, including a dreadlocked Jamaican businessman who bottles ancient voodoo potions for his ethnic community and Frankie Holland, who hopes for gender reassignment surgery and whose multiple personality disorder sometimes makes “her” believe she is “Marilyn Monroe of Canada.”  Necessarily provocative, as any novel exploring sexual addiction and harassment would be, readers will be enlightened about current psychological research,  legal strategy and ethics as plot lines culminate in a compelling courtroom showdown.

Bill Pilchak is a Metro-Detroit attorney, honored by his peers as a “Best Lawyer,” “Super Lawyer” and a dbusiness“Top Lawyer.”  With a degree in Creative Writing and Politics from Central Michigan University, he has written for most of his life and has published professional material, but Nothing But The Truth is his first novel.  He has been recognized by the American Bar Association for the quality of his scholarly writing, has spoken before an ABA annual meeting on the research found in his novel, and has briefed  Congressional and Senate personnel on employment issues.  Married for 36 years with two adult children, Mr. Pilchak is also active in his community.  His firm received his county bar association’s Leon Hubbard Community Service Award In Support of Diversity for their enduring Law Day program for the local elementary school, and he has served as past Chairman, Vice Chair and Director of his local Chamber of Commerce.
