    Stumbling across Sarah at a New Years Eve party Mike takes charge realising that Sarah’s cheating boyfriend is having sex with a waitress in her best friend en-suite and after being the perfect gentleman Sarah can only find it in her heart to insult and humiliate him.

   Pitifully explaining her reasons Sarah is forced to confront her demons, and even though she’s working towards a cure to help the British and American heroin pandemic, she soon realises that the only thing keeping her from true happiness is her bigoted view of Mikes life. As she fights to break down her moral walls, she realises quickly that Mike has also led two lives. As a hitman, he was a ruthless unrelinquishing killing machine however in his second role he's played the life as a long-standing father figure to his band of friends.

   Tearing down each piece brick by brick Sarah opens up her heart understanding that without him theirs a hole in life that has never been filled. In fact, the depths and levels of Mike’s character unveil a different softer and kinder side to his life, and even though he had no family, he brought Sarah the security and tenderness she needed.

For Sarah, he was all she’d ever need.

   As the days turn into weeks small revelations surrounding both of lives start rising to the surface until the Mafia and Marcus, Mikes old drug lord turns up seeking answers.

With Sarah missing and no way of finding her, Mike steps back into his old life only to realise that both of them had pasts and one had more secrets and lies to tell. With the web of lies spiralling out of control and the layers of deceit unravelling Sarah too has to figure out the right time to let him know that her University career is only a cover story. The problem is once Sarah and Mike both discover the truth which one will find that they have NO WAY BACK!
