As the commanding officer for Indianapolis’s Major Case Squad, Lieutenant Ash Rashid investigates the highest profile cases in the city. Though he’s not given the credit as often as he deserves, he’s good at what he does.

It’s no surprise, then, when he receives a phone call on a Friday night about a murder. A young reporter from a local TV station is dead in the entryway of her home. As Ash and his squad work the case, their murderer kills another reporter, and then a third.
