This story tells the tale of Ambrogio, the first vampire. The story tells how and why he became a vampire: facing a life tragedy (without him knowing) he turns to the dark side for help. Obsessed with bringing back what he had lost, he trades his next most precious possession. In the process, he loses his soul and becomes the leader of a pack of vampires. After a few months of being vampires, they have to start migrating to different towns so they won't run out of food. A small village in China figured out how to kill the vampires and trained themselves to fight back. The villagers were able to chase down the vampires. Then the villagers go to the town where Abrogio lived, but when they got there they did not find him . . .
