Night in a Bad Place

Army Warrant Officer Jim Nix is an outcast with just one chance to stay out of Leavenworth: lead a platoon into the notorious Song Ba valley for just one night. A simple operation, Nix thinks. But nothing can prepare him for what awaits his men and him—something much deadlier than mere flesh-and-blood enemies—an incredibly powerful evil entity determined to kill everything in its path. Nix has survived war, politics, military bureaucracy and his own inability to put orders above conscience, but one night in Song Ba may be something even Nix can't survive.
