This sequel to the previous thriller, DANGEROUS PROFESSIONS, stands alone as an exciting continuing story. Either book may be read first. The first one as back story after reading the sequel, or in chronological order.
In the first story, the two main characters, Mike DiNardo and Shannon Racette, were conscripted by Homeland Security and forced to track and terminate a dangerous Al-Qaeda leader. Now, they have moved to Switzerland and they marry, believing they will enjoy the good life. But, the bad guys have an extensive network and they soon find themselves targets of revenge and terror. Their peaceful lives are denied. At times they are the hunters, and then become the hunted. They are the captors and the captives. Their new enemy is even more dangerous and slippery than they anticipate, and they must stay ahead of the game and prevail.
After they settle in to their new lives, Mike re-establishes his business and the couple pursue their plans to have children and travel. They begin to enjoy living as young and beautiful, affluent and bright adventurers.
But their plans are interrupted as they become targets for another revengeful and slippery terrorist with a long memory. Once he is identified, they enlist the aid of a foreign government agency to halt his activities, and capture or kill him. But, the wily terrorist turns the tables on them time and again, committing terrible acts of destruction and leaving a bloody trail that they must follow in order to save themselves and put an end to his career of violence.
