Shaun Clavert never expected to find Eliana Monroe living next door. The much older women with one leg quickly captured his interest, and taught him the wonders of her body. They both knew it would not last, but enjoyed it to the fullest. Vicki Logan stopped at the pharmacy where he worked, and hinted about a possible amputation. A co-worker, Nora Blair teased him about the reason.

About the series

All her life, Dr. Sabrina Ruiz, MD had known there was a problem with her left leg, though doctors would not have found anything wrong. Even in high school, she felt that it should not be a part of her body, and at times hated having it so much she would fantasize about engineering an accident to force the amputation. Seeing amputees heightened the problem, leaving her dysfunctional for days.

Sabrina moved from one hospital to another chasing men she thought she wanted to be with, but never with any success. When she finally married Ignacio Ruiz, she was happy for a year before he died from a massive heart attack. She was nearly fifty, and it was more than she could bare. A lifetime of hiding her desire to be an amputee came out in a violent rage over a few weeks. She quit her practice and traveled, eventually finding her way to Mumbai, India.

At a bar one night, she met Dr. Alfred Wood, MD. He quickly said that he was not interested in women, yet the fact that she was also an orthopedic surgeon fascinated him. Over several days, she confessed her desires. He mentioned some recent research into the condition. After the amputation, Sabrina joined Alfred in his practice. The hospital agreed to continue offering surgery for patients like Sabrina.
