Born in Iowa and a graduate of Wheaton College in Illinois, Leona Choy served with her late husband Ted in mission, church, and educational work in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, and the United States. She is a co-founder of Ambassadors For Christ, Inc., a campus ministry among Chinese university students and professionals in North America. She made over a dozen trips to the People’s Republic of China to escort American tour groups and minister to Christians in China with her husband. She is co-founder and the president of WTRM-FM (Southern Light Gospel Music Network) in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia where she resides. Leona is the editorial director of Golden Morning Publishing which she established with her son Rick. She is writer, editor, and collaborator of over 35 books and many foreign language editions.
