It won’t be long before Atlantis disappears forever, its cities, temples and inhabitants overwhelmed by a giant tsunami, but time has already run out for some people, stalked and murdered by a serial killer.

The first, a competitor in a marathon race, was seen crossing the finishing line shortly before his body was found, but the medical evidence suggests that he has been dead for many hours.

This is just one of a series of baffling mysteries to be solved as the twists and turns of the plot unfold.

Reader challenge

This ingenious murder mystery set in Atlantis finds ancient Greeks, Romans, Phoenicians, Egyptians and Atlanteans living and trading happily together until a serial killer comes into their midst. Then the Greek Governor General, Daminos, fearing that the murders will fuel political unrest, needs to act swiftly to identify and punish the guilty. To do this he finds the best brains that Atlantis has to offer and uses members of Atlantis's Academy to help him along the way. The challenge for you is to read the clues, discard the red-herrings, and get to the truth before the Governor General by saying 'whodunit' first.
