As the saying goes, “It’s not the number of breaths we take, it is the number of moments that take our breath away.” Every now and then, and more often than we realize, God breaks into the routine and gives us one of those awesome moments, so powerful, so amazing, so beautiful that time seems to stand still.

How long has it been since you had one of those moments? I have had many moments like that. Some were quite dramatic, some were quite memorable, and some were just too beautiful for words. Do you remember the first time you saw the ocean, or a majestic mountain range, or a breathtaking sunset with colors so amazing that you find yourself thinking, Only God could do that!

As we explore in this book some of the many different kinds of moments that take your breath away, it is my hope and prayer that we will all become more aware of and receptive to the myriad breathtaking moments that God has in store for us.

—James W. Moore, adapted from the introduction

Contains twelve chapters plus an introduction. Each chapter of the book features a key passage of Scripture and focuses on a key theme. A study guide is included.
