MissAdventure is the journal of two woman that decided one Thanksgiving after too much wine that they needed to hike the Grand Canyon before life passes them by. Two very different woman but connected by blood. An Aunt and her niece. The niece is in her early 30's and enjoys backcountry living. The Aunt has never camped and will not, but wants to experience the Grand Canyon. A compromise is reached. The book takes you from the initial reservations through the 10 day journey. Each day of the journey you will learn about the experience- both good and not so much. But you will be entertained even if you never plan on hiking the Grand Canyon. But if you do, you will learn about the planning, the must do's, and the ' should have brought'. After each day- a 'we learned today' list is included. Many pictures are included.
