The dramatic conclusion to the Mirrim Dawn saga.

The Mirrim Dawn's world had been settled and long forgotten by the Federation, Dawn herself born to a time of peace and harmony under the gods. Then came the men of the stars, the Masters, life as she has known it forever lost to her, her mother dying within her arms. As perhaps the last Mirrim, the last Oracle of the Gods, she is left in a world torn by conflict with her faithful companion Cally at her side, a world that heads inevitably toward a war the people of Theos will never survive unscathed.

Dawn's brother now stands within the ranks of enemy, a man at her side born also of the stars from where the curse of the Masters has come, her estranged father moving headlong into conflict. It is a conflict Dawn herself now is drawn into the heart of, into the centre of the Masters' world, to the seat of power of the Baron Elsworth. It is a journey perhaps into the waiting arms of the enemy, perhaps into death itself, yet Dawn knows that must do as she can to save her people. Deep within she also still feels the call to the distant Vale of the Mirrim, a call to travel all the surface of the known lands if she should survive, to return the power of the Gods to the surface of her world.

As she is separated from those she has come to love dearly, the war at last coming to her world, Dawn learns even more of the truth of existence and becomes what must. She knows then that she can be the bringer of life and hope to a world in need, and yet she knows well that she is also the hand of the Gods, the mighty above, indeed even the hand of death.
