Mervin the Magic Mower

This beautifully illustrated children's story is about how Tom Goode rescues an old mower from Mr Pickle's junk yard and saves him from being thrown out onto the scrap heap. With the help of Mr Pickle, Mervin works again! But Mervin is no ordinary mower because he can magically talk, but only to Tom, who also seems to be the only person who can start Mervin. Because Mervin can talk, Tom decides to call him Mervin the Magic Mower. This is the first in a series of children's stories about how Tom and Mervin weave their magic and help other people in the community.
