A young boy hovers near death in a hospital room, his overly doting mother at his side and a calming voice that he hears in the mist of his unconscious mind. He recovers and is visited by the mystery woman. The boy goes through some major life changes including being allowed to go to school like regular kids and getting in his first fight. And, as he grows closer to his strange friend more changes keep coming.
The sickly boy grows to be a strong, handsome and successful doctor, full of unlimited promise. But, the only thing he can focus on is how he feels about the woman of his dreams.
