Animals were the characters for the first book in the Meet Me series; children and Jesus are the focus of book two. Children, like Jesus, love unconditionally. No matter our age, Jesus accepts us as we are, and then works faithfully to help us grow and develop.
Even the disciples had trouble understanding the parables Jesus taught, but Jesus did not give up. He helped them understand why His lessons were the foundations of their belief. It is my sincere desire that this book, sub-titled Parables from the Pasture, will help little ones better understand Jesus’ teachings by embedding them in the type of play common to children through the ages. Whether running, kicking a ball, picking flowers, or playing hide and seek, Jesus expressed his great love toward children.
