The Bible says in 1 Timothy 6: 10, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil...." Notice here that the Bible does not say MONEY is the root of all evil. Money is needed for the spreading of the gospel. Money is needed also to feed the hungry and to take care of our needs. Therefore, we need to find biblical ways needed to raise money for the gospel and necessities of life and make them known to people who want to please God in all that they do, and that is the focus of this book, "Making Money for the Gospel."
The word "money" appears hundred and twenty three times in the King James Version Bible. The importance of money being in the hands of the right people can never be over-emphasized. This is the reason why God blesses those who put money to right use as the Bible puts it in Proverbs 11: 25, "The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself."
