She’s recently lost her job as a social worker, and when her old flame, Joel—the police chief—elicits the help of her abilities to solve a suspicious death that has gone cold, she just can’t say no.

Soon Maggie realizes the strange things that are happening to her are not just a coincidence, and she asks her childhood friend to help her figure out who’s stalking her.

And she hopes the killer hasn’t discovered that she’s trying to catch him.

When someone keeps dumping bodies in the river, things get pretty hairy—and the seemingly quiet little town becomes dark with a yellow underbelly just waiting to be brought to the surface. Along with Maggie’s help, the police realize they now have a serial killer amongst them. The clock is ticking, and it isn’t long before he kills again. When Joel asks an old college roommate and an FBI agent for help, the two lawmen are skeptical of Maggie’s abilities, but she quickly proves them wrong.
