Short Story Press Presents Love Doesn't Exist by Aivan Antonio
One of Aivan’s (pronounced as I-vuhn) profound ability is to make people feel different kinds of emotions through the art of writing. His passion for writing began when he revealed his Fairy Tale story during his senior year in high school. One of the final projects he had in English class was to write a fairy tale and present it in front of his class. At first, he was shy to present it but remembered that he would fail the class if he didn’t do it. With enough courage and with his grade on the line, he managed to change fear into strength and was able to present it in class. He noticed that the whole class giggled and cheered at the right sentences he had written. Noticing the laughter he was eliciting, his shyness disappeared and he finished the story with his classmates clapping and saying “that was epic, man! Woohoo!” At the end, the English teacher marked his grade with an A and the whole class voted his story as the best in his class. Before the fairy tale project, he did not discover his passion yet. But now he has found it - his road is set, his goal is to be the best creative writer in the world!
