Excavation is a process of digging for something of value; and, one of the most important aspects of excavation is soil analysis. This is important in order to determine the appropriate support system. There are different clazzifications of soil types in which you can find stable rock, such as granite or sandstone; or cohesive soils, such as the various types of clay; or granular soils, such as gravel or sand. And where soils are configured in layers the soil must be clazzified on the basis of the weakest soil layer. And this has great spiritual significance, because we need to understand what type of soil we are, as Jesus shows us in His parable of the sower and the seed. If you ask the Lord to show you, you, He will!
Cheryl L. Black is a mother and evangelist. She is, also, the author of When Faith Becomes Glory and A Shepherd’s Heart. She believes God uses the testimonies of our lives to promote His kingdom. And it is vital that we not just share our opinions; but, we must spread the word of God. Jesus said, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me” (John 12:32). So we need to understand that opinions change over time, but God’s word stands sure. “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever” (Isaiah 40:8). If we abide in His love, we should abide in His word, which will produce fruit.
