In the wonderful town of Dazzler, where everyone practices kindness, a group of intelligent younger adults set forth to spread the message of being good to our earth. Sapphire, the leading teen, starts the ball rolling into several main events. The characters have specific talents and share a commonality of being named after gemstones. Love . . . and . . . Hugs is the title of this book, and besides this phrase popping up in the right places, it embodies the feelings of the residents. The history and personalities of the younger generation are heartfelt. They charm their way to making everyone happy while genuinely accomplishing considerate acts. When I was a teenager, I dabbled in poetry and short-story writing. Since we have moved up north, in Ontario, Canada (not far from Toronto), I enjoyed writing for our local newspaper in the way of an entertainment column, called Our Very Own. This is the first time I have finished a book that I have started and have sequels, which will span the growth of our characters as they add more to their lives.
