Following the successful completion of her mission, Aiden Saunders, returns to Paradise an angel and a hero.  But nothing, not even her brand new wings, can lessen her guilt over the fate of the demon she was forced to leave behind.  She has little time, however, to dwell on the loss of Brian Hayes.

With Heaven’s army whole once more, the Council sets its sights set on ending the demon threat forever. As Heaven declares war on Hell, Aiden soon finds herself drafted into the angel’s army.  Though not the best at following orders, she is more than eager to battle demons once again.

She joins Heaven’s army on Earth, where they have set up camp around the tunnel to the now abandoned Hell.  The demon army has scattered across the Earth so as not to be trapped in Hell’s fiery depths.  But they reassemble now and march on the armies of Heaven.

As the forces of Heaven and Hell collide, angel and demon are thrown together once more.  As secrets are revealed and allegiances called into question, Aiden is forced to choose between love and loyalty, angel and demon, Heaven and Hell.

Long Live the Dead is the long anticipated (work with me) sequel to Winging It and the second book in The Aiden Saunders Trilogy.
