The incarnation of Jesus not not only shows God's love for a fallen world, but it also gives women great dignity in that Jesus, Son of God, was born of a women. Women accompanied Jesus off and on during his ministry. They were present at his crucifixion. They were the first at the tomb, first to find it empty, first to hear "He is risen," and first to be called to announce to others his resurrection. In the last fifty years there has been a renewed interest in the development of women in their God-given talents in teaching, leadership, preaching, and pastoral skills. The book highlights five unique stories involving women in the New Testament.
