Carly is an Illustrated, fictional tale written for children ages 5-10. The storyline evolves around our main character Carly, who has decided to become a vegetarian. Her parents are concerned about her decision, but supports her anyway. Her so-called friends shunned her and called her all sorts of hateful names. One day, while Carly was sitting on the dock alone and crying about not having no friends...and it's all because I won't eat fish anymore! Then, suddenly this little fish popped up out of the water. "What did you say? You don't eat fish?" "No" Carly replied. "Well, my name is Freddy and if you promise not to eat me, I'll gladly be your friend!" And so began the historic friendship between Freddy the fish and Carly the pelican. A friendship which would not only change their lives, but those of the entire community as well!
