Let’s Go for a Drive

by Carolyn A. Ricciardi

Let’s Go for a Drive was a book written to bring attention to the importance of driving safely.  With a world absorbed with technology, it’s easy to lose focus.  Teaching the basics of what to do and what we see when driving can leave a permanent, positive effect on our children.  Whether it’s recognizing signs or emphasizing the importance of putting down the phone, Let’s Go for a Drive was written to instill these lessons in hopes of creating a safe environment for our future drivers.

About the Author

Carolyn A. Ricciardi is a stay-at-home mother of two in West Milford, New Jersey.  Her daughters, Sofia and Mia, are her life and inspiration, and her husband, Lou, has always been her biggest supporter.

As a child, Carolyn’s father always instilled the importance of driving safely well before she could actually drive herself.  She attributes her desire to teach other children to him. Having children of her own, plus fifteen nieces and nephews, was enough motivation to start writing, but after losing her mother in a car accident, the project hit even closer to home.

With this book, the author hopes to send a fun, effective message to children about the importance of driving safely.
