Let the Little Ones Lie

Parents so often forget what it's like to be a kid with a monster living under the bed. Or in the closet. Kids can be so imaginative, can't they? And when a screaming child keeps you awake at night, for days on end, it can be a killer. As a lesson in telling the truth, and to teach them how to sleep independently, sometimes it's best to just let them lie.
