The 12 stories in this collection are a personal account of the antics of my exuberant dachshund, Ladoo. While most of the stories are about what Ladoo gets up to, some of them are about how ludicrous humans can be about dogs.

Above all, these stories show that if you open your heart to a dog, it will give you its whole heart in return. Here's something I wrote that appeared in a story posted online that says it all: "My mother says that Ladoo must have done some good karma to be loved this much. In fact, I think the opposite is true: I must have done some good karma for the many blessings and joy she’s brought me. God give me strength for I know that when my sweet dachshund dies, a part of me will die with her."

"The phrase ‘They were made for each other’ is quite commonly used; however, you only have to read this book to see a true example. Ladoo was a wonderful dog who not only gave herself heart and soul to Aneeta [and received the same in return] but also touched the souls of many other people with her amazing character - Susan Keefe"
