It is crystal clear that modern Christians don't live with the consciousness of being a steward. Most times we live anyhow, behave anyhow, without being mindful of giving account to God one day.
Either as a result of ignorance, wrong teachings or negative examples by popular preachers, majority of professed Christians of today lives without any iota of the fear of God in their hearts. Yet, the Scripture says that the "fear of God is the beginning of knowledge" (Proverbs 1:7).
Today, everyone wants to live without restraint of any kind. We want freedom to do whatever we like and to face no consequences for our choices. Well, that is not the testimony of the Bible.
Freedom extravaganza and living without accountability is not and will never be part of God's kingdom. In actual fact, the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ is all about stewardship lifestyle (Matthew 25:14-31). Everyone will give account of his or her life, time, talents, treasures, and leadership. Each one will stand before the judgment seat of Christ to give account and render their stewardship. Therefore, believers that are heavenly minded needs to constantly examine this subject often.
Complete Christian stewardship is highly needed if we are to please God in this life and not regret hereafter. To please God in every area of our lives demands that we know and imbibe the scriptural revelation regarding kingdom stewardship. That is what this book is all about. My sincere hope is that every reader will re-orientate their life and living to that of good stewards of God's graces. Christ kingdom is a kingdom of stewardship and accountability.
"Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants." – Matthew 18:23
"After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them." – Matthew 25:19.
"So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God." – Romans 14:12
London, United Kingdom is regarded as the most cameralized city in the whole world. Everywhere you turn, there is a camera watching and recording whatever you are doing. European and American nations have statelite camera in the sky, 400 miles above the atmosphere. It can zoom in on every house, street, community and person anywhere on the surface of the earth, to see and record what is happening. If human beings, with their small head and brain can invent and deploy these 'big eyes' cameras and statelites, how much more God? He is surely watching and recording every one of us!
"He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see? He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?" – Psalm 94:9-10
I sincerely hope you will allow God to use the contents of this book to challenge your heart to stewardship living. Either we like it or not, the Scripture is clear that everyone shall one day give account to God. And that God will not but on the last day applaud every work, after taken every work through test it is then men shall have praise of Him if the work passes His test.
"Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God." – 1 Corinthians 4:5
My genuine prayers is that you my reader will not be found wanting on that great day!
