From The Introduction:
In the body of Christ, issues involving money are often discussed with caution, you will agree with me, because of the dust that is sometimes raised; the disposition of many, and the different perspectives that abound on the subject.
I decided to delve into this subject to present a detailed case of the Economics of the Kingdom of God.
There appears to be grey areas and subjects that divide the family such as tithing, which recently generated a lot of controversy in the Nigerian Christian Community. But whether we all come to a consensus on the subject or not, there is a need to clearly delineate the whole scope of God’s kingdom Economics, especially as touching our commitment in tithes, first fruits and others.
A clear understanding of what we ought to do and the manner in which we should do it will bridge the gap and bring everyone to a common ground. What I have done in this work is to provide detailed scriptural backup for the economy of the church of Christ.
This, I believe, will deal with the mostly disparaging and disheartening attitude of many Christians to discussions and teachings that border on cash flow into the body of Christ, and the means of generating funds for the work of God, as well as what the kingdom of God holds for our future and prosperity.
The economics of God’s kingdom stretches beyond means of raising financial support. It encompasses God’s plan of prosperity for us, and our bid in his divine model. It explains how wealth is generated, managed and distributed in the kingdom of God – and our responsibilities to the kingdom of God here on earth.
In this book, I explained the building blocks for the Economics of God’s kingdom. These are the principle of access, and the liberty to give whatever we determine in our hearts.
