The following is an excerpt from the Preface of my book. It should give you an idea of what my book is about:
"(Isa 33:5-6 NIV) The LORD is exalted, for he dwells on high; he will fill Zion with justice and righteousness. {6} He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure.
The NLT says it this way:
(Isa 33:5-6 NLT) Though the LORD is very great and lives in heaven, he will make Jerusalem his home of justice and righteousness. {6} In that day he will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure.
In my use of the word "key" I’m referring to that which opens a correct understanding of something. In particular, doctrines formed from a study of God’s Word (called by Gentile believers in Jesus, the Holy Bible). If you have the right key, it will open up a door to a correct understanding of a doctrine. I also use the word "key" in a way that is similar to the word "premise." If you have the right premise, you’ll end up with the right conclusion (or understanding). Conversely, if you have the wrong premise, you’ll end up with the wrong conclusion. A premise is a proposition upon which an argument is based or from which a conclusion is drawn. So having the right key or premise is very important!"
Have most believers in Jesus been taught correct doctrines? After many years (I am 84) of reading and studying the Bible (with much prayer) I have come to the conclusion that some of my beloved brethren in Christ, who are leaders, have had a wrong premise in some of their doctrines. So, most believers in Jesus (Jewish believers use the name, Yeshua) have been taught incorrect doctrines concerning death, life, soul, the believers destiny, the destiny of the lost, the importance of the resurrection of believers (and even Jesus), and who Jesus/Yeshua really is. If what I present in my book doesn't have Scriptural references to back it up, it means nothing! The reader of this book (hopefully with prayer) will have to decide if what I have written here presents keys to the understanding of God's Holy Word, and whether it honors God and His Word.
