Jeff was immersed in his work and enjoying the challenges an expanding international business affords. Marci had enjoyed the blessings of being a stay-at-home mother. Life was good, but everything would change the night Jeff had a stroke. The stroke left Jeff teetering on the brink of death, trapped in an uncooperative body, paralyzed from head to toe, and unable to utter a single sound. Marci and the boys were thrown into their own turbulent world of financial strife, confidentiality leaks, heartache, betrayal, and an uncertain future.

This is a story of courage, resilience, perseverance, love, forgiveness, miracles, and total dependence on God during one of life's most turbulent storms; a storm riddled with the crocodiles of life that rise up to challenge, distract, or derail us by sapping our energy and stealing our joy.

About the Author:

As a Christian, former nurse, wife, mother, and lifelong volunteer, Marci shares her unique insights, servant's heart, and love for God's world through her writing. Her devotionals have appeared on Sermon Illustrator.org. She and her husband Jeff have three wonderful sons, and recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.
