Karma's Locket

Two apparent strangers are drawn to one another by undeniable, physical magnetism, triggering their Karmic destiny. Five years later,in another place, Eleanor, a beautiful, innocent and naive, young woman experiences a sexual awakening for which she is not prepared. Her lack of awareness and casual attitude by her lover have a devastating effect on her. She has been left indelibly damaged. Shame keeps her from revealing her situation to anyone. Her life is a charade, which is maintained through a convenient, arranged marriage. Outwardly, she has the appearance of all the benefits derived from power and wealth. Inwardly, she is frozen in time, in a world she has created for herself and fostered by her emotionally disturbed husband. Eleanor's life dramatically changes with the sudden death of her husband. She remarries a man who longs for a real relationship with her. In Eleanor's desperate efforts to maintain her present life, the one she is perfectly content to assume, she unwittingly reunites the strangers, one of which is her current husband. The wheel of fate has been put into motion and explodes in unintended consequences.
