Jonathan Stern, a former UK government employee has now retired. Bored of his monotonous life and freakish circle of friends, he decides to travel across Europe to broaden his horizons. He also hopes to meet his future lifelong partner, as the men in his life so far have been full of broken promises. Unfortunately, due to his selfishness, unreasonable behaviour, and twisted personal views, things don’t quite work out the way he intends them to, and his journey is full of strange characters and non-stop drama. All of which are his doing and responsibility. Rather than write letters, postcards or send emails, he chooses to keep a diary, which he will give as a present to his friends on his return.
