The most important person in the life of Madeleine Edwards is Madeleine Edwards and it's no coincidence that the letters on her sleek leather brief case are M.E. A successful marketing executive, Madeleine lives to look good and at forty-five she's still pretty impressed by her efforts. So it comes as a bit of a shock when the launch of a new piece of medical equipment doesn't quite go to plan and Madeleine finds herself out of work. Using her friends, business network and anyone else who might be useful Madeleine gets a new job. She is also invited out on a blind date. The job might not prove a howling success but when Madeleine learns that her date, the widowed and now recently divorced Haden Elliot, is one of the wealthiest men in the county, she turns every trick in her arsenal to marry the wallet of her dreams. There's only one snag - Haden's daughter and her son. But for Madeleine they are simply fair game!
