The Inventor of Dipsup Creek is a novel which takes Royce a professor of economics on a heart felt humourous journey through the past rediscovering his greatest passion with encouragement from his loving wife Patricia. The happily married couple move into Royce's childhood home in Dipsup Creek with their two children after his father passes away.

The old house is much the way it was when Royce grew up there and his wife Patricia becomes facinated with how it is revealing a secret person inside her husband she never knew existed. He was a young creative inventor inspired to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather.

She could see her husband begin to sparkle inside when he tells charming stories from his inventive youth. Encourages him to start inventing again vowing unconditional support, she hopes it will also help him resolve issues concerning his relationship with his father. He embraces his rebirth as an inventor with spirited diligence applying creative thought to domestic issues of parenting and family household.

Patricia, a master's of psychology major, was unable to forsee the potential for adverse effects the mental fabrication of her husband's mind may have on the daily household. Original products of her spouse's own contrivance conjured up new origins of uncharted dysfunctional family dynamics.
