Sheldon is a troubled man. For a long time he has been suffering from nightmares in which he is pursued by an unnamed terror, and as the dreams worsen, he begins disintegrate into a nervous, fearful version of the man his friends once new. Before it gets better, it gets odd. The turmoil of the dreams spills over into his waking life, until he is no longer sure what is real and what the product of his mind. His job becomes an endless struggle through paranoia. His friends and his new lover grow increasingly concerned, but the more they see, the less they understand. Sheldon’s behaviour and his whole world view veer from the strange to the outright dangerous. Yet even as he fragments, he sees a solution which may help him regain control of his dreams, and his mind. If Sheldon is able to regain control, he may regain his life. The question is, will he be able to save himself from himself?
