Some say that the price we pay for technological advance is our very humanity. As our devices evolve, how much are we willing to sacrifice for convenience? With smart phones, e-mail, text messaging, and social networking, the ancient art of human-to-human communication is falling by the wayside. These advances have greatly influenced the way we communicate with each other. Albert Einstein once mused, I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots. Is that day already in our past? If so, how can we protect our future communications? In poetry and prose, author R.
