This book is arranged based on The Circle of Fifths and is designed to help you learn the Keys and the chords associated with each Key.
Open the book to any of the Keys. With the name of the Key at the top of the page you will see the seven principle chords which belong in that Key shown with colored backgrounds. These are the essential chords of the Key. You should learn these seven chords as they will be used repeatedly in any song written in that Key. You will notice many patterns reoccurring throughout the book which illustrate how the chords are associated. The second page of each Key contains nine additional chords that will prove useful with that Key.

The chords in a song are played in a particular order called a progression. Combined with lyrics, beat, and rhythm you get a song. This is something of a Strum Book. By learning the association between chords inside a Key is fundamental to music.

Have fun. Practice each Key by moving from one chord to another until you can quickly and surely move from any chord in that Key to any other chord in that Key with a minimum of effort. This exercise will establish muscle memory and greatly enhance your ability to play guitar in that Key. Then play another Key the same way. Use various chord progressions in each Key. Practice Keys that you don’t usually play. You’ll become a better musician in the process without really trying.
This book would be useful for transposing songs from one key to another a well as to aspiring songwriters. You can’t help but learn by playing this book.
