I Am Detta O'Byrne

Detta O'Byrne spends her days walking and talking her clients through the family courts in Ireland. Trying to be a good (enough) solicitor and a good (enough) human being.
At home with the awesome Batman and Robin, and gentle Ellen she strives to be a good (enough) mother.
And then there are the ghosts, dreams and ex lovers to be sent back to the dark side.
Without becoming (too) distracted by tall evolved judges, helicoptering parenting and stray carnal urges, she must drag the past out into the light, claim her other mother from the magdalen laundry and decide who she will be.
