I am but a fragment of Oforula completes a trilogy of poetry books that started with Lemons of Oforula and later Stagioni di Oforula. The poems in this collection like the ones preceding them are richly endowed in image and language, borrowing widely from expressions in his Nigerian Igbo language. The themes are as varied as in a lifes journey, of the vicissitudes of an immigrant cast away from his abode, and yet not as distant and with recollections of the beauties and pains of his Africa, for example, in the poems dedicated to countrymen and Nobel-Laureate Wole Soyinka and Ken Saro-Wiwa. The poems divided into three parts, also speak on nature and spirituality, where the poet revels in his analysis of our time, and echoes of journeys through some African and European cities.
