Hurricanes, Storms and Tornadoes In the life of the Believer

Everyone who has committed their lives to Jesus will go through some type of storm. In these turbulent times we must allow God to do his will in our lives. We must be willing to allow God to go to the bottom and bring to the top the best that is in us.

One day in India an eagle soared overhead, taking advantage of the rising air current from the warm earth below. The sky grew dark, and in the distance a threatening  storm cloud began to make its way across the land. At first the eagle flew away from the storm as if it was in fear of it.

Suddenly the eagle turned and dove directly toward the storm; then arching its wings against the force of the rushing wind, it was vaulted upward higher and higher until at last the eagle could be seen soaring in the clear air above the storm.

So the question is, are you an eagle?
