Humility narrates two beautiful stories:
The Emperor’s New Clothes
There was once a king who liked nothing more than dressing up. He spent a lot of money getting new clothes for himself. Soon, his minister got worried. He devised a plan and invited two weavers who would weave the most beautiful clothes for him. The only catch was that the clothes that the weavers weaved could be seen only by the intelligent. Did the King come to know about the intelligent people in his kingdom? Did the weavers fool him? Written in the form of a poem, this story gets across its point in a humorous way.
Emerald and the Gems
Emerald was the most stunning mermaid in the ocean. Though she was very pretty, she was also very vain. The other mermaids did not like Emerald at all. One day, Emerald overheard the other mermaids talking about a shipwreck in the deep parts of the ocean. On board the ship was a treasure chest full of gems, albeit cursed. Tempted by the sparkle of the gems, Emerald decided to find the shipwreck and get the gems for herself. Was she able to get the gems? Did she come back safely?
The book on the Value Humility will be followed by 7 other books based on values of Gratitude, Love, Courage, Respect, Trust, Commitment, Focus and Integrity.
