I have been in the service industry for 15 years. I have done everything from washing dishes, to being a cashier, to catering, to prep cook, line cook, expediting, serving, bar tending, managing, and then back. This is my chosen profession. I am not doing this until I become a lawyer or school teacher. I make good money. The hours are long, the work is hard, and sometimes I get puked on, but this is what I love to do. I make good money because I adhere to a few special rules, which I plan on sharing with you in this book.
I am writing this book to help you, but I am also writing this book for selfish reasons. This book proclaims that it will increase your tips. Which it will, but really the book should be called Please stop giving the world crappy service! I know I give excellent service while working, and I just want the same in return when I go out! Unfortunately, good service seems to be a thing of the past. So please help me bring the service industry back, and make some extra cash doing it.
