I have imagined it to be an emotional portrayal of regret over the loss of a loved one, but you can interpret as you will.

I go by the "art for art's sake", hence all the characters and stories are fruits of my own imagination which quite possibly do intertwine with some of the events from our everyday lives; however, unintentionally.
