Helping animals is Augusta Moore’s passion. With a booming business, Wags and Walks, she’s well liked in Havenport, and finds the time to volunteer at the animal shelter. A busy woman, her love life is not a priority. After the last disaster, which included unmailed wedding invitations, trusting men is on the bottom of her list.

That is, until sexy and brave former Marine Evan Washburn rolls into town.
