Hollow Points is a biography which is both delightfully innocent and brutally graphic. It follows the life of a'baby boomer migrant child' who enjoys simplistic days of sibling loyalty and rivalry, and as with most families, many secret adventures.
Although the life of the author became a tangled mess of child abuse, sexual abuse and domestic violence, she clung to the belief that there as a better life.
After her estranged husband stalked her and shot her seven times before taking is own life, her journey became a blur of depression and broken relationships. With only herself to rely on, the author struggles with mental health issues, financial hardships, and parental rejection at her greatest time of need.
The author recognised that there is a greater life than that of a 'survivor', and she was driven to push forward and become a 'thriver'. This book makes compelling reading for those who like 'survival stories', but it will beof particular interest to those who have suffered abuse and are seeking a fulfilling life.
We have the power to set ourselves free.
